There's a song in a corner of my mind;
A set of words searching for a rhyme.
Not so much a meaning,
More a kind of feeling.
Now, it's just a tune I have to find.

R.: You say the medium is the message,
I say I think you've got it wrong.
It's not the song that is important,
it's the singer, not the song.

There's a tune running through my head.
A line of notes waiting to be read.
Crotchets and quavers,
My heart never wavers
All I mean to say will be said.
R.

There's a thought in a corner of my soul.
There is life and death but is that all?
It should all have meaning
But I have a feeling:
Life's about the cherries, not the bowl.
