25  Tunc amplexus, tunc oscula
Quae vincunt mellis pocula.
Tunc felix Christi copula
Sed in his parva morula.

26  Tam quod quaesivi video:
Quod concupivi teneo:
Amore Jesu langueo,
Et corde totus ardeo.

English.png English translation

25  Then embraces, then kisses,
that are more powerful than cups of honey.
Then a happy union with Christ
after a short while.

26  There is what I have searched for:
There what I have desired to hold:
I am sick for the love of Jesus,
And my whole heart burns.
