9 Ubi est Abel frater tuus? ait Dominus ad Cain, qui respondit: Nescio: nunquid ego sum custos fratris mei?
10 Dixitque ad eum: Quid fecisti? vox sanguinis fratris tui clamat ad me de terra.
English translation
9 Where is Abel your brother? the Lord said to Cain, who replied, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10 And [the Lord] said, What have you done? the voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground.
