Jonathan Adams is a cum laude graduate of Arkansas State University where he received both his Bachelor of Music Ed. and his Master of Music degrees.  While at ASU, he studied choral music with the late Alfred Skoog and composition with Jared Spears.  He is currently choral director at Nettleton High School and was the Jr. High Director for twelve years.  During his tenure at the Jr. High, his choirs sang at the 1992 Arkansas All-State Convention and in 2000 NHS Les Chanteurs sang in Carnegie Hall.  In 2003, the Nettleton Madrigals sang for the All-State Convention.  The choirs at Nettleton have consistently received Superior ratings at region and state festivals, winning sweepstakes awards in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005.  Adams also has served as an adjudicator and clinician in Arkansas and Missouri.
