Hello Edmund. I'd like to echo Carlos's welcome and thank you for contributing Christ the King but I am concerned about some copyright issues to do with this work. You have suggested that the author of the text you have set, Bishop Jeffery Rowthorn, is still alive. Have you sought permission from him to set, reproduce and distribute his poem as you have? In addition, you have stated that his text is copyright by Hope Publishing Company. This raises a further concern since publishers usually require their authors to give them exclusive rights to the publishing of their works. For these reasons, I'd be grateful if you could reply to this message here or by email (see my user page), confirming that you have the author's permission to reproduce and distribute his work and also that this does not conflict with any agreement he has with Hope Publishing Company. We would require written confirmation of this at a later stage.

Here at CPDL we have to take copyright very seriously so I hope you understand that my questions are not intended to place any doubt on your integrity but to protect CPDL. If you do not reply to this message within 48 hours, I will temporarily remove your contribution, but would be happy to restore it when you reply to confirm that you have the author's permission. Kind regards --Bobnotts <small>talk</small> 09:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Copyright concerns
