Large parts of this page, including notes on the editorial method and the mention of a "Byrd Edition" appear to have been copied from my user page. Likewise, the boxed information on the front page of Jay's sole edition, the Tomkins Responses, also comes from my editions, and again the mention of a "Byrd Edition" is meaningless in the context. Large parts of this page, including notes on the editorial method and the mention of a "Byrd Edition" appear to have been copied from my user page (resulting in Tomkins apparently being acclaimed as the greatest British composer, something at which even his greatest admirers might raise an eyebrow or two). Likewise, the boxed information on the front page of Jay's sole edition, the Tomkins Responses, also comes from my editions, and again the mention of a "Byrd Edition" is meaningless in the context.
