Wem ein tugendsam Weib bescheret ist,
die ist viel edler, dann die köstlichen Perlen.
Ihres Mannes Herz darf sich auf sie verlassen,
und Nahrung wird ihm nicht mangeln.
Sie tut ihm Liebs und kein Leid sein lebelang.

she is more valuable than precious pearls;
his heart may rely on her, and will not lack for sustenance.
