Zion spricht:
Der Herr hat mich verlassen,
der Herr hat mein vergessen.
Kann auch ein leiblich Mutter
ihres Kindeleins vergessen,
daß sie sich nicht erbarme
über den Sohn ihres Leibes?
Und ob sie schon desselben
ihres Kindeleins vergesse,
will ich doch dein nicht vergessen.
Siehe, in meine Hände hab ich dich gezeichnet.

the Lord has me forgiven.
Can a mother her child
of her body forget too
that she does not have mercy
