Edition notes: The original order of staves is Tenor - Alto - Air - Bass, with the alto part printed in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch. The slur between the G and A in the bass part on beat 2 of bar 3 is absent from the source and has been added editorially. Only the first verse of the text is given in the source: three further verses have been added editorially.
