Composer: Reginald Libert

Number of voices: 3vv   Voicings: SST or STT
Genre: SacredMass

Language: Ancient Greek
Instruments: unknown

First published:
Description: Transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr92, this Kyrie has to be sung in polyphony throughout. The third voice has to be choosen between the two middle voices (either the Triplum or the Contra) making two versions: SST or STT. The keys, notes' values, accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript. The time signature is missing, the “tempus perfectum” has been assumed from the context and the perfect notes have been dotted. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left ustemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves – the right downstemmed note is a longa. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.
