I don't exactly know why, after my last edit Oigan al modo del Sacris solemniis (Matías Juan de Veana) is categorized as for 16 voices. In fact I used the choral SSAT soli category to clarify that the verses can be sung by a subset of the 8vv. required. Richard Mix (talk) 07:29, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

I think it has been fixed now. The trap which prevents categorizing in appropriate N-part choral music category for Solo voicings has been extended to Choral solo voicings as well. Previously, {{Vcat}} didn't see "Solo" in the first position of "Choral SSAT soli", so it just counted the number of charcters in "Choral SSAT soli" (coming up with 16) and classified it in 16-part choral music. Now the template sees "Choral" and doesn't categorize. – Chucktalk Giffen 15:56, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for catching this error, Chuck. I just noticed that we're using a double standard in these solo categories: for solo vocal music we use the word solo before the voicing (e.g., Solo SATB). For choral solo music, on the other hand, the word solo (or soli) is being used after the voicing (e.g., Choral SATB soli). Should we try to stick to a single standard for simplicity? —Carlos (talk) 18:35, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
