Latin text
O Virgo virginum, quomodo fiet istud?
Quia nec primam simile visa es,
nec habere sequentem:
Filiae Ierusalem, quid me admiramini?
Divinum est mysterium hoc quod cernitis.
English text
Virgin of virgins, how can this thing be?
O Since time began was none like you,
nor shall be ever after, O Virgin.
Daughters of Jerusalem, why do you marvel at me?
Divine is the mystery before you, and which you adore.
