Life

Born: ca. 1453?

Died: fl. ca. 1490

Biography: Little is known of John Browne, save for his being represented by 15 works in the earlier folios of the Eton Choirbook (from about 1490 to 1500), although 5 of these works are lost. His contemporaries include Walter Lambe, Richard Davy, William Cornysh, Robert Fayrfax, William Horwood, Robert Wylkynson and Hugh Kellyk.
