Ach Gott, wie soll ich singen und leben guter Dingen,
so doch nichts ist in meinem betrübten Hertzen
als Kummer, Elend, Trübsal, Angst und Schmertzen.
Unfall hat mich besessen, des kan ich nit vergessen.
Was ich anfah, das will mir nicht gelingen.
Wie wöllt ir dann, daß ich soll fröhlich singen?
Ich hab mich eingelassen in Lieb ohn Ziel und Maßen.
Der ich doch nicht kann ewiglich genießen.
Soll mir das gfallen? Solls mich nicht verdrießen?
Darum so last mich trauren, mein Hertzen leid bedauren.
Niemand weiß ich, der mich zu Freud möchte wenden.
In Leid muß ich mein elends Leben enden.
