Description: Ralph Vaughan Williams' arrangement of Friederich Spee's Lasst uns erfreuen (1625 version) was published first in The English Hymnal in 1906, with words by Athelstan Riley, "Ye watchers and ye holy ones". However, this tune arrangement has become much more commonly associated with the translation-paraphrase of St. Francis of Assisi by William Draper, "All creatures of our God and King", first published in 1919.
