All that I ask is one red rose from a garden sweet with spring,
By a lonely magic stream for I dreamed of a rose at daybreak
And my heart began to sing of the lover in my dream,
And one day the rose will find the lover in my dream.
For in the dawn I knew a miracle passed
I knew a dream came true was my dream at last!
The rose by the stream will be the token and the sign
that brings my heart to one I love
that brings me one whose heart will ever be mine!
