English text
O come, let us sing unto the Lord;
let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving
and show ourselves glad in him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
O come, let us worship and fall down,
and kneel before the Lord our Maker.
For he is the Lord our God,
and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
Glory and worship are before him,
power and honour are in his sanctuary
Tell it out among the heathen that the Lord is King
and that he made the world so fast it can’t be moved.
O magnify the Lord and worship him upon his holy hill
for the Lord our God is holy.
The Lord preserveth the souls of the saints,
He shall deliver them from the hand of the ungodly.
For look, as high as the heaven is, in comparison of the earth,
so great is his mercy towards them that fear him.
There is sprung a light for the righteous, rejoice,
and joyful gladness for such are true hearted.
