German text Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe, und Friede auf Erden und den Menschen ein Wohlgefallen. Choral: Wie soll ich dich empfangen, und wie begegnen dir! o aller Welt Verlangen, o meiner Seele Zier! Gib selbst mir zu erkennen, wie deiner Güte voll, dich mei-ne Seele nennen, dich würdig preisen soll.
