Fair Maiden
Who is this bairn,
thou holdest in thine arms?
close in thy mother's breast.

This bairn you see in manger bare
Three wise men came to see
following a star to worship
at this child's feet.

This child you see in manger bare,
three kings there came,
bearing gifts of gold, incense and myrrh
gold that was never bought nor sold
incense about his head
myrrh for the honoured dead.

This child you see is my son
born to be King
born to die for man's sins.
