Born in Garrovillas Spain.  Became choirboy at Cathedral of Segovia at age 10.  Choirmaster of the Cathedral in Guatamala possibly as early as 1554.  Became Choirmaster, Cathedral of Mexico in Mexico City on May 20, 1575.
