Latin text Hei mihi, Domine,   quia peccavi nimis in vita mea! Quid faciam, miser?   ubi fugiam nisi ad te, Deus meus? Miserere mei,   dum veneris in novisimo die.

English translation Woe is me, O Lord,   for I have sinned too much in my life! What shall I do, wretch that I am?   whither flee but to you, my god? Have mercy on me,   when you come on the last day.
