Biography
Born in Wasserburg, scholar of Mayr in Bergamo. Until 1819 Vicenza, Milano, Venezia, then conductor of the opera in München. 1827-64 conductor at the Allerheiligenhofkirche in München. Wrote much music for the church, also for women's choir. His style is a mix of classicism and romantic.
