According to the entry by Yvonne Levasseur-de-Rebollo in Grove's Dictionary of Music, opinion is divided as to whether there may have been a second musician named José de Torres (possibly the son of the first). The Regina coeli listed below, may perhaps be attributed to the junior Torres, since it is stylistically so different from the other works.
