Description: Original composition by Robert Hugill setting verses from Galations 6 and Psalm 66 which form the Latin Antiphon for Maundy Thursday.
The motet is set for four part unaccompanied choir (SATB) and is part of Robert Hugill's sequence of motets Tempus per Annum setting the Latin introits for all the Sundays in the church's year and for major feasts.

Latin text
Nos autem gloriari oportet in cruce Domini nostri Jesu Christi: in quo est salus, vita et resurrectio nostra:
per quem salvati et liberati sumus.
Deus misereatur nostri, et benedicat nobis:
illuminet vultum suum super nos, et misereatur nostri.
English translation
It is right for us to glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ:
in whom is our salvation, life and resurrection;
by whom we are saved and delivered.
May God have mercy on us and bless us;
may He cause the light of His countenance to shine upon us;
and may He have mercy on us.
