O Lord, thou art my God, and I will exalt thee,
And I will praise thy name forever and ever.
For thou hast done wonderful things;
Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Isaiah 25:1 (KJV)
Thou hast been the strength of the poor and needy,
A refuge from the storm,
When the rage of the mighty arose as a tempest against them.
Isaiah 25:4
Thou wilt swallow up death in victory,
And the Lord God shall wipe away the tear from every eye.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it!
Isaiah 25:8
Lo! This is our God; We have waited for him, and he will save us;
We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
