Biography
Well traveled Italian composer and organist, quite prolific for his time. His opus consists mainly of sacred works in the form of concertato motets, solo motets, psalm settings and both small and large concertato masses. He started his career at Arezzo Cathedral in December of 1624 where he stayed for 3 1/2 years. In 1629 He went to Saint Michele in Muriano near Venice, before moving on to Volterra Cathedral in 1637. Two years later he accepted the post of maestro di cappella at Forli Cathedral in 1639, and then Jesi Cathedral for the period 1644-45. He ended his service at Faenza Cathedral where he had gone in 1647 until his death in January of 1677.
