1 Qui vindicari vult, a Deo inveniet vindictam et peccata illius servans servabit.
2 Relinque proximo tuo nocenti te et tunc deprecanti tibi peccata solventur.

Hungarian translation

1 Aki bosszút akar állni, az Úr áll bosszút rajta, és megtartja az ő bűneit is.

2 Bocsáss meg társadnak, ha vét ellened, akkor te is, amikor könyörögsz, elnyered bűneid bocsánatát.

English translation

1 He that revengeth shall find vengeance from the Lord, and he will surely keep his sins in remembrance.
2 Forgive thy neighbour the hurt that he hath done unto thee, so shall thy sins also be forgiven when thou prayest.
