De Saba vienen, polvorientos,
tres reyes con un gran secreto:
buscando Niño Dios están;
los guía una estrella fugaz.
Los muchachos los saludan
al pasar coreando:
"¡Buen viaje, majestad!"
Y los niños alborotan
sin sosiego suplicando:
"¡Pase ad nos en camello!"
Junto Belén, sobre portal,
la estrella luce más y más.
"La noche huye te Señor",
está pensando rey Melchor.
Se detienen y se partan
del cortejo con regalos
para Príncipe del Cielo.
La luz brilla en la puerta;
Baltasar es el primero que entra.
Y allí, como no puede hablar,
sonríe a la Divinidad.
Los tres obsequian con amor
a quien será su redentor,
a nuestro Salvador.
