English text
The busy lark, messenger of day,
saluteth in her song the morrow gray;
and firey Phoebus rises up so bright,
that all the orient laugheth at the sight.
And with his streames drieth in the greves
the silver drops, hanging on the leaves.
The busy larke, messager of daye,
Salueth in hire song the morwe graye;
And fyry Phebus ryseth up so brighte,
That al the orient laugheth of the lighte,
And with his stremes dryeth in the greves
The silver dropes, hongyng on the leeves.
