Ye breezes of morning,
With welcome I greet,
There’s balm in your zephyrs,
Enchanting and sweet,
Your soft murmuring music
Chase slumber away,
And night shades retreating
At dawning of day.
So blithely and gaily,
So joyous and free,
Ye light airy breezes
That merrily flee,
With sweet scented fragrance
All nature pervade,
Melodiously sighing
Through forest and glade,
O breezes of morning,
Now rolling away,
Ye are the glory
And crown of the day.
