Lady wake, arise, arise,
   See, the sun is beaming;
Birds are trilling in the skies,
   Lie no longer dreaming!
’Tis the natal day, fair maid,
   Look forth, we entreat thee,
Hear our early Serenade,
   Blent with their’s to greet thee.

Lilies, pure as alpine snow,
   Wait thy coming hither,
They are twined to deck thy brow,
   Wear them ere they wither;
Lady fair, appear, appear,
   Heed our votive measure,
Wishing thee each coming year
   Health and wealth and pleasure.
