Description: This setting of four verses selected from Ps. 95 in the metrical Old Version was published on pp15-16 of Thomas Clark's A Ninth Set of Psalm Tunes, London: [c1830].
External websites: The original order of parts is 2nd - 1st - [Instrumental bass] in the opening symphony, and Tenor - [Alto] - Treble - [Bass] - [Instrumental bass] in the remainder of the piece. The alto and tenor voice parts are given in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch in the source. The treble range instumental parts of the symphonies in bars 16-17 and 32-36 are given on the voice parts in the source, with the second treble range instrumental part printed on the tenor stave at the same pitch as given on the alto stave in this edition (i.e. this has not been transposed by an octave in transcription). The first verse of text is underlaid in the source, with the further three verses given here printed after the music. The first time bar has been added editorially, to accommodate the repeat which is indicated in the source by the use of 'segno' marks.
